2025 has come to an end...finally. After a year of unpredictable tariiffs, geopolitical events, and economic uncertainty, just about everyone is happy to see 2025 go. 

 

The big predictions of 2025 being a year for the freight market to rebound and turn spot rates around wasn't quite the future we envisioned. Instead 2025 was marked by the AI evolution and survival. 

 

2026 seems to bring some of the economic stability or correction that was felt this year. AI and technological evolution will continue to be an over arching theme of the year. Never to be outshone by the cargo theft, which will remain a significnat issue in the new year. 

 

Here's to limping to the end of 2025 and the quiet entrance of 2026.
